Verity White

Verity White is an experienced nursing professional currently serving as a Nursing Learning Lab Leader and Peer Tutor at the University of Maryland School of Nursing since January 2024. With a background as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Advanced Nursing + Home Support, Verity has provided personalized care to over 40 patients, gaining exposure to various health conditions. Previous roles include Community Health Improvement Intern at Suburban Hospital, where Verity worked on projects to reduce health disparities, and participation in the Global Fellows Program focused on water security and global health challenges. Verity has also contributed to community health awareness through various initiatives, served as President of the Global Poverty Minor Advisory Board, and supported public health through outreach and educational roles. Verity holds a Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Science from the University of Maryland.
