Beatriz Conde Fernández

Health Safety and Environment Engineer at Advanced Oncotherapy

Beatriz Conde Fernández has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as a Quality Control Engineer at Arexim Engineering. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Maintenance Engineer at GIP ARRONAX. During this time, they established a computerized maintenance management system for a cyclotron and related equipment, and prepared functional and technical specifications for the development of an IT plug-in for radioactive source and waste management. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Safety Engineer at CERN. During this time, they were the deputy safety coordinator of the radioactive isotope production facilities ISOLDE and CERN-MEDICIS, and provided radiological safety support for the CERN EN-STI group. Since 2018, they have worked as a Health Safety and Environment Engineer at ADAM SA (Advanced Oncotherapy plc). Beatriz is the deputy manager of the Health, Safety and Environment department, and is the safety responsible for the Swiss facilities. Beatriz also substitutes for the Health, Safety and Environment manager during maternity leave.

Beatriz Conde Fernández has completed a Risk Management Certificate from the EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), a Swiss certificate of radiation protection expert from the Institut de radiophysique du CHUV, an Engineer's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Ecole des Mines de Nantes, and an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering specialized in Energy from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
