Patrick José

Patrick José has worked in the software development industry since 2018. In that year, they began working as a Junior Software Developer for Altran, where they developed infotainment software for Renault/Nissan/Infinity/Dacia using C++, Candera CGI Studio, and State Machine (FSM) on a Linux environment. In 2019, they worked as a Junior Full Stack Software Developer for SOPHiA GENETICS, where they developed a full stack web application to automate tasks. In 2020, they began working as a Junior Full Stack Software Developer for FORS - Swiss Centre of Expertise in the Social Sciences. Currently, they are employed as a Software Build and Release Engineer for Advanced Oncotherapy plc, where they are responsible for executing SW releases and SW builds, implementing and maintaining continuous build, continuous integration, and testing infrastructure, and automating and improving the deployment tool-chain/processes using the Atlassian stack and Python.

Patrick José obtained a Technical degree from IEFP in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia in 2007-2008. Patrick then attended Instituto Politécnico de Bragança from 2013-2014, where they obtained an Installation and Maintenance of Networks and Computer Systems degree in Information Technology. In 2014-2017, they attended IPB - Instituto Politécnico de Bragança and obtained a Bacharelato degree in Information Technology. In July 2018, they obtained a Java Full Stack certification from Rumos - Portugal.
