Malini Hoover has over 20 years of experience in the technology and aerospace industries. From 1996 to 2004, they worked as the Sales & Catering Director at Barton Hills Country Club, where they promoted and booked club's banquet facilities, developed contracts, and oversaw all administrative and operational aspects of preparing events. In 2007, they founded and served as CEO of iaam.com Teen Entertainment, an interactive website emphasizing life skills and positive entertainment for young adults. From 2004 to 2017, they worked at Advanced Optical, first as CEO and then as Interim CEO, Vice President, and Vice President of the Board of Directors. In this role, they oversaw sales and marketing, created requirements definition, oversaw data configuration, accounting, bid and proposals, and HR, and defined a new product line for the company’s technologies. In 2017, they became President of the Professional Aerospace Contractors Association (PACA) of New Mexico, where they promote a healthy and vigorous dialogue between aerospace industry, defense, national security industries and government agencies.

Malini Hoover attended the University of Houston from 1993 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Management and a minor in Finance. Malini also attended Bhavan's R.A. College of Science from 1985 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Malini also holds a certification as a Women Owned Company.
