Arun Arumugam

Arun Arumugam has extensive work experience in business development, sales, and project management. Arun is currently working as the Director of Business Development at Advanced Protection Systems Inc. and Eycore since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Sales and Business Development at ASTROSAT from October 2018 to April 2023. Arun also has experience working at Chemring Technology Solutions, where they held various roles such as Regional BD & Sales Director and International Business Development Manager in the Asia Pacific region, Bid Manager & UK Business Development Manager, Project Manager, Integration, Test & Systems Commissioning Manager, and Software Engineer. Throughout their career, Arun has demonstrated expertise in creating business development strategies, driving sales, managing projects, and leading cross-functional teams.

Arun Arumugam completed their education with a chronological progression of degrees. Arun began their academic journey by attending St. Xavier's Institution in Penang, Malaysia, from 1990 to 1994, where they earned their SPM (equivalent to GCSE) degree. Following this, from 1995 to 1996, Arumugam studied at Taylor's College in Selangor, Malaysia, completing their A-Levels (UCLES) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and General Studies. Subsequently, they enrolled in the University of Bristol, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from 1996 to 1999. Arumugam then continued their education at the University of Bristol, completing their studies in 2004 and earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Wireless Personal Area Networks.
