Brock Temanson

Task Lead, Research Support Center (Library) at DARPA at Advanced Resource Technologies, Inc.

Brock Temanson has worked in the research and library services field since 2002. Starting as a Technical Librarian 3 and 4 at Northrop Grumman, they then moved to Manager, Library Services 1 and 2 at Northrop Grumman-TASC, where they were responsible for managing library services across the NGIT sector, providing TASC Daily Updates, and supervising 4-6 employees. In 2006, they moved to Martek Global Services, Inc. as a Senior Librarian at the National Science Foundation. In 2014, they volunteered at the Loudoun County Public Library and in 2015 they worked as a Metadata Cataloger for PBS Learning Media at Special Counsel Information Governance. In 2017, they were a Project Manager on assignment at the National Library of Education for LAC Group and in 2020 they were a Searcher 3 at Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. Most recently, in 2021, they were a Senior Associate, Research Services & Open Source Solutions at Guidehouse and in 2022 they are a Task Lead, Research Support Center (Library) at DARPA, responsible for managing the Research Support Center and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Brock Temanson attended Ohio University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications. Brock then went on to The Catholic University of America, graduating in 1995 with a Master of Science in Library Science.
