Charles Ekvall began their work experience as a Retired U.S. Army Colonel in 1986, serving as a Field Artillery Officer and holding various command and staff positions until 2015. In 2016, they joined the US Army again as the Deputy Director of TRADOC Capability Manager for Electronic Warfare, where they provided operational oversight for U.S. Army Electronic Warfare requirements. In 2019, Ekvall became an Adjunct Professor of History at Georgia Military College until 2021. Currently, they work at Advanced Technology Leaders, Inc. as a Capture Manager and will transition to the role of Business Development Manager in 2023.
Charles Ekvall has a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of West Georgia, which they earned between 1981 and 1986. Charles also holds a Master of Arts degree in Military History from Louisiana State University. Additionally, Charles has completed various Capabilities Development Courses at the Defense Acquisition University. Charles has also attended the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, although it is unclear if they earned a degree or pursued a specific field of study there.
