Kara Bailey

Kara Bailey is a highly experienced Radiation Therapist with a strong background in travel assignments and PRN roles. Currently serving as a Travel Radiation Therapist at Akumin® since April 2024, Kara has previously worked at the Advanced Urology Institute as a PRN Radiation Therapist and Radiation Therapist since August 2018. Notable travel assignments include positions at UCSF Health, Kaiser Permanente, CGH Medical Center, and California Protons Cancer Therapy Center. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Med: Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida, an Associate of Science in Radiation Therapy from Keiser University, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Polk State College. Additionally, Kara has foundational training in Athletic Training from Florida Southern College.
