Izabel Barros

Izabel Barros, PhD, serves as a Senior Associate at Advanced Workplace Associates (AWA) since June 2018 and concurrently holds the position of CEO & Senior Partner at FRB Consulting. With extensive expertise in workplace strategy, hybrid work environments, change management, and multi-cultural innovation, Izabel has also contributed as a professional speaker. Previously, Izabel was a faculty member at CoreNet Global and held various roles at Steelcase Inc. from 1999 to 2018, leading applied research and consulting efforts in Latin America. Izabel's academic credentials include a PhD in Design, Innovation, and Strategy from the Illinois Institute of Technology and multiple degrees from Universidade Federal do Amazonas. Additionally, Izabel has held significant academic positions, including professor and vice dean roles, and served as a visiting professor in Germany.
