Lauren Trent

Lauren Trent is an accomplished leader in education and workforce development, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of AdvanceEDU since February 2020. In this role, Lauren oversees a college and career accelerator program designed to support students navigating higher education and career pathways. Prior to AdvanceEDU, Lauren held various leadership positions within Denver Public Schools, where notable achievements included the expansion of the nationally recognized DPS CareerConnect program and the development of Colorado's first modern youth apprenticeship system. Lauren's extensive background also includes roles at CareerWise Colorado, The Broad Foundation, and Huron, complemented by an educational foundation that includes a Master of Education from the Broad Residency program and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
