Joseph Welsh

Mr. Welsh brings to Advantage Alpha over twenty years of experience in hedge fund operations and compliance. Prior to joining Advantage Alpha in May 2021, Mr. Welsh spent six years at Pivot Point Capital, a long-only hedge fund, where he was Chief Administrative Officer and CCO. Prior to Pivot Point, Mr. Welsh spent six years as the CFO and CCO at Alesco Global Advisors (Alesco), a real estate-focused Adviser offering hedge funds, mutual funds and private partnerships, which was acquired by Grubb & Ellis and subsequently bought by Lazard Asset Management. Prior to Alesco, Mr. Welsh spent seven years with Presidio Management, a small-cap Adviser with long/short hedge funds, where he served as their CFO and CCO.
