Dan Downing

Dan Downing's work experience includes serving as CEO of Cyber Ops Alliance since September 2017. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO of Advantage Factory, Inc. from 2001 to 2014. Dan also held the role of Director of Program Management at Etera from 1999 to 2001. Before that, Dan was the President of HarvestWind/ASAP/DDA from 1973 to 2001. Dan also worked as a Consultant at Microsoft from 1995 to 2000 and at PhysioControl from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, Dan worked as a Consultant at Egghead Software from 1988 to 1994, and as President of Dan Downing & Associates from 1978 to 1990. Dan began their career as a contractor at Embassy Pictures from 1980 to 1982.

Dan Downing attended Rock Island High School from 1967 to 1969. From 1969 to 1973, they pursued their higher education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they obtained a BA and MEd in Education. In 2012, Dan obtained an Amateur Radio Operator - Amateur Extra Class License from the FCC.
