Richard Lathrop

Richard Lathrop has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Richard started their career at Yale University Careers as a Research Assistant, where they designed and developed software for a single-photon detector data analysis program. Richard then joined Agilent, first as a Software Engineer and later as an Applications Consultant. In 2005, they moved to Verigy as a Sr. Staff Engineer, where they held a lead role in technical pre-sales for applications, new business development, and new product introductions. Richard also served as the Technical Chairman and General Chairman for the Verigy User Group Conference. Currently, Richard is working at Advantest, where they have held several roles, including Manager and Director in Applications Engineering, Director in Technical Sales, and currently as a Sr. Director in Business Development & Technical Sales.

Richard Lathrop completed their high school education at Woodberry Forest School from 1993 to 1996. Richard then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics at Yale University from 1996 to 2000. After that, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, during the period of 2004 to 2005.
