Angela Smart

Angela Smart is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and medical fields, currently serving as the Director of Global Medical Excellence and Operations at ADVANZ PHARMA since December 2019. Previously, Angela held various positions within ADVANZ PHARMA, including Associate Director of Global Field Medical Excellence and Global Medical Scientific Liaison Manager. Prior to this, Angela worked at GSK as the UK Director of Field Medical Affairs and held roles at Daiichi Sankyo UK Ltd as Medical Liaison Manager and at Daiichi Sankyo as a Medical Liaison Scientist in the cardiovascular domain. Additional experience includes positions at sanofi-aventis and GSK, as well as a foundation in biomedical science at Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust and clinical research coordination at the Institute of Cardiovascular, Renal, and Pulmonary Disease.
