Mikael Kerttu

Mikael Kerttu has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mikael is currently working as a Developer at Advenica AB since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chairman of the Board at Enighetens vägförening in 2022. From 2017 to 2022, Mikael worked at Ericsson as a SoC Architect and later as a System Architect consultant. Mikael also worked at Apple as a Sr CAD Engineer from 2013 to 2016, and at Samsung Semiconductor as a Staff CAD Engineer from 2011 to 2013. Before that, Mikael held the position of CAD Supervisor at Aptina Imaging from 2008 to 2011, and Senior CAD Engineer at Micron from 2004 to 2008. Mikael also worked as a Consulting Assistant Professor at Luleå University of Technology in 2004, where they previously served as a PhD Student from 1999 to 2004, conducting research in Low Power Synthesis, BDDs, ADDs, FSM analysis, and Pass Transistor Logic. Mikael was also a Visiting Research Scholar at Purdue University in 2003. Mikael began their career as a Digital ASIC designer at Nokia Mobile Phones from 1998 to 1999.

Mikael Kerttu has an extensive education history, primarily focused on computer engineering and computer science. Mikael began their academic journey at Luleå University of Technology in 1994, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Mikael successfully completed this program in 1999.

After completing their master's degree, Mikael continued their academic pursuits at Luleå University of Technology. From 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Licentiate degree in Computer Engineering, further specializing in their field of study.

Mikael's commitment to advancing their expertise in computer engineering led him to pursue a doctoral degree. From 2001 to 2004, they were enrolled in the PhD program in Computer Engineering at Luleå University of Technology. Mikael successfully completed their PhD, demonstrating their mastery of the subject and contributing new knowledge to the field.
