Ian Mahoney

Ian Mahoney has extensive experience in trading and financial operations, currently serving in a trading role at Advent Capital Management, LLC since July 2018. Previously, Mahoney worked as a Product Controller at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from May 2014 to July 2018 and was a self-employed trader from September 2012 to April 2014, focusing on macro trading in equity index, bond, and FX futures. Earlier career highlights include starting the European trading desk for Advent Capital Management and progressing from operations to trading at Duet Group, specializing in convertible bonds and risk management. Mahoney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the University of Reading, completed in 2005.
