Robert Gourlay

Robert Gourlay is an experienced financial professional currently serving as Head of International Sales at Fred Alger Management, Inc. since September 2018. Concurrently, Robert holds the position of Head of Business Development EMEA at Advent Capital Management since August 2014, where responsibilities include leading sales and marketing efforts across EMEA and significantly enhancing the firm's profile in Europe. Prior roles include sales positions at RWC Partners from 2004 to 2014, where Robert built a substantial client network and raised over $3 billion for UCITS products, as well as sales and marketing roles at Euronext Liffe and Arcanum Investment Management. Robert began a career in finance as a broker at Refco and served as an officer in The Queen's Own Hussars.
