John J.

John J. has worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries for over two decades. Their most recent position is as Vice President of Medical Affairs at Adverum Biotechnologies, Inc. John also held the same role at Regeneron, where they gained expertise in ophthalmology and retinal diseases. At Regeneron, they were involved in the development and management of the Medical Affairs Ophthalmology Team. Prior to Regeneron, John J. worked in various medical and scientific affairs roles at ISTA Pharmaceuticals, Chiron Corporation, Amgen, and Bayer. John began their career as the Program Director for the Geriatric Pharmacy Residency Program at the Southern California System of Clinics. In this role, they managed multiple ambulatory clinics and played a leadership role in academic and teaching institutions affiliated with USC/UCLA.

From 1985 to 1989, John J. attended the University of California, Berkeley. Following this, from 1990 to 1994, they pursued education at the University of California, San Francisco.
