Alison Thornton

Alison Thornton is the VP, Human Resources, and Operations at Advice. She joined the company in 2013 and obtained her SHRM-CP certification in 2016. Alison’s hands-on approach drives efficiency and productivity, and she plays an intricate role in the company’s day-to-day operations. Prior to Advice, Alison was in the wholesale apparel and furniture industry with a regional corporate leader.

After attending college at Kansas State University, Alison moved to Dallas and now considers herself a full-blown Texan. As the resident Advice Fantasy Football commissioner and 2016 season champion, Alison’s fall schedule includes keeping up with her multiple fantasy football rosters and cheering on America’s Team – GO COWBOYS!

Once football season is over, Alison enjoys hitting the links, checking off her extensive reading list, and fueling her minor shopping addiction at Nordstrom. She and her husband, Jason, co-parent a 70 lb. bundle of canine joy, Tucker.
