Mervi Pyökäri

Mervi Pyökäri is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Advisense since October 2024, Mervi specializes in advising companies on these critical matters. Previously, Mervi worked at Finnlines from February 2020 to July 2023 as Group Head of Legal, overseeing legal, insurance, and claims departments for contracts exceeding €100 million and leading a team of nine experts. Mervi has also held significant roles at Kemira, Krogerus, Yara, If P&C Insurance, and Industrial Insurance Company Ltd., with a strong focus on corporate governance, compliance, international trade, and maritime law. Educationally, Mervi holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Turku and completed The Maritime Law Course at the University of Southampton.
