Angus Woods has extensive experience in the financial industry. Angus began their career in 1998 as a Financial Analyst at Macquarie Bank. In 2003, they moved to GE Money / AFIG (Australian Financial Investments Group) as a Strategic Planning and Pricing Manager. In 2005, they joined Virgin Money Australia as Chief Financial Officer and Commercial Manager. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Director at Economex. Angus then moved to Breakthrough Labs as a Consultant & Advisor in 2013. In 2014, they became an Adviser at the Australian Digital Currency Commerce Association (ADDCA) and Founder and Executive Director at Adviser Ratings.
Angus Woods attended St Ignatius College from 1989 to 1994. Angus then went on to the University of Technology Sydney, where they earned an Undergraduate degree (with Honours) in Business from 1995 to 1997. In 1998, Woods enrolled in the Kaplan Professional program, where they obtained a Post Graduate degree in Applied Finance and Investment in 2000. From 2001 to 2003, Woods attended the University of Technology Sydney again, where they obtained a Master's Degree Equivalency in Accounting and Finance. In 2004, Woods enrolled in the CPA Australia Program and obtained a Post Graduate degree in Accounting in 2007. Finally, in 2010, Woods attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where they completed the Company Directors Course.
