Duc Ta

Duc Ta is a Junior Data Scientist at Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. since May 2023 and has been a Co-Founder of API RISE since 2013, establishing a nonprofit for the Asian and Pacific Islander community in Los Angeles. Duc has also led initiatives such as the Black & AAPI Youth Solidarity Mural Project, engaging over 230 community members, and partnered with Healing Urban Barrios to address racial tensions. As Director of Operations at TRT, Duc developed comprehensive databases, improved sales by 10%, and executed web initiatives. Previously, Duc served at the Hospitality Training Academy, where efforts in data-driven improvements reduced production costs and facilitated job placements for culinary students through a specialized database.
