Jaime Lauriano is an accomplished youth leader and biomedical research intern currently involved with Advocates for Youth as part of the Student Organizing Team and serves as a Youth Leadership Fellow at PUENTE HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENT. Efforts include being a member of GLSEN's National Student Council, where Jaime provides insights to enhance programming for LGBTQ safety in K-12 schools. As the founder of STEM4YOUth, Jaime is passionate about youth engagement in STEM. Past experiences include the Bioscience Leadership Academy at TGen, being a Youth Democratic Leader at The Civics Center, and working as a Medical Research Assistant at Georgetown University, focused on malignant melanoma research. Jaime is pursuing a high school diploma at Arizona Connections Academy, having previously attended Independence High School and participated in Barrett, The Honors College and Yale Young Global Scholars programs.
