Yamalí Rodas Figueroa is a dedicated youth activist and organizer with extensive experience in community engagement, social justice, and educational advocacy. Currently serving as the Lead Organizer for the Minnesota Youth Activist Alliance at Advocates for Youth, Yamalí also holds positions in the Health Standards Advisory Committee for the Minnesota Department of Education and as a Lead Curator for the Sesquicentennial Social Justice Exhibition at Macalester College. As an elected representative on the Board of Trustees Infrastructure Committee, Yamalí works on enhancing campus sustainability efforts. Previous roles include Program Assistant at HANA Center, Inclusive Partnership Subcommittee Lead with Mikva Challenge, and Voter Engagement Intern at Planned Parenthood North Central States. Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Educational Studies from Macalester College, Yamalí is committed to empowering marginalized communities through advocacy, research, and organizing.
