Prabha Karan is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in leading kitchen operations across multiple prestigious establishments in India. Currently serving as Head Chef at Adyar Ananda Bhavan since May 2023, Prabha previously held the role of Senior Chef De Cuisine at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts from May 2018 to April 2023, and has also worked as Sous Chef at Crowne Plaza Chennai Adyar Park and The Raintree Hotels. Prabha began the culinary journey as a Commi Chef and progressively advanced through various roles, including Chef de Partie and Demi Chef de Partie, accumulating significant expertise in South Indian cuisine and kitchen management. Prabha holds a Diploma in Food Production from IHMCT Chennai and has a solid educational foundation in science.
