Tomas Kelly

Tomas Kelly is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as an Accounting and Reporting Analyst at AECL since August 2011, where responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, performing month-end processing, preparing reconciliations for various accounts, and generating miscellaneous reports as requested. Prior to AECL, Tomas worked as a Senior Accountant at BDO Canada from September 2007 to August 2011, specializing in small and medium-sized private and not-for-profit organizations, with a focus on planning and executing audit engagements, including documentation and walkthroughs of accounting and operational controls. Tomas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University (2003-2007) and is currently pursuing a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation through the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (2010-Present).
