Gokturk Onem

Gokturk Onem is a seasoned engineering professional specializing in marine structures, with extensive experience in various roles across notable companies. Gokturk has held positions such as Senior Marine Structural Engineer at AECOM and Sogreah Gulf Fzco, and served as Special Bridge Design Coordinator and Chief Engineer at Renaissance Construction. Additionally, Gokturk has contributed to academia as a part-time lecturer at Boğaziçi University and played a pivotal role as Lead Structural Design Engineer at 2ER Consultancy Project Supervision. Gokturk earned a Master’s degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in Earthquake Engineering from Boğaziçi University between 1998 and 2008.
