Matt Paquette has been working in the design and creative industry since 1994. Matt began their career as Director of Marketing & Communications for CHEO BBQ. Matt then moved on to become a Partner/Creative at MARSWorks Inc. from 1999 to 2005. Following this, they worked as a Web/Graphic Designer for Minto Developments Inc. from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, they began working at Nokia as a Multimedia Subject Matter Expert and Creative Director - Special Projects. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Graphic Designer at the Bank of Canada Museum, where they were responsible for lead and production design of Museum exhibitions and various print products. During this time, they also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Alderac Entertainment Group. From 2014 to 2018, they were the Creative Director at NeoLore Networks Inc., where they were responsible for lead and production design of MarComm initiatives and corporate image. Since 1999, they have also been running their own business, MattPaquette.com, providing end-to-end design services including lead graphic and UX design, planning and execution.
Matt Paquette attended Brookfield H.S. from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a High School Diploma in Math & Science. Matt then attended Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology from 1995 to 1998, studying Business Admin. - Information Systems.
