Rauneal Soomai

Rauneal Soomai is an experienced finance professional currently serving as an Accounting Associate at Aegis Business Solutions Limited since March 2022. Previously, Rauneal held the position of Finance Officer at The Medical Research Foundation of Trinidad from June 2021 to December 2021, where responsibilities included budget preparation, cash flow management, and monthly salary calculations for staff. Rauneal also worked as a Human Resources Assistant at The Medical Research Foundation of Trinidad and Tobago from January 2018 to December 2020, handling leave monitoring, medical and pension claims, and various administrative duties. Earlier experience includes serving as a Finance Clerk at Unicomer Group from December 2012 to January 2018, managing payroll for a large number of employees and ensuring accurate statutory deductions. Rauneal is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, with completion expected in December 2025, while also being enrolled in the ACCA program.
