David Jones

David Jones has a diverse work experience in the technology and entertainment industry. David started their career as a Freelance IT Consultant for the European Movement UK while pursuing their degree. David then joined Oxygen 107.9fm as a Business Director, where they played a key role in obtaining a radio license for Oxford city.

David later joined Ginger Media Group and became their Head of IT, providing support to the Virgin Radio Sales team. David continued to grow within the company and eventually became the Head of IT - South for SMG plc after the group acquired Ginger Media Group.

In 2006, David joined Virgin Radio as the Head of Technology Services, leading a new department that merged IT and Broadcast Engineering. David then joined Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) in 2008 as the UK IT Director. Over the years, they were promoted to head up the Europe-wide technology function and eventually became the Chief Information Officer of AEG Global Technology in 2022, unifying the company's global technology teams.

In 2017, David became part of the SEAT Executive Advisory Board, a forum for professionals in the sports and entertainment industry.

Alongside their professional career, David served as the Chair of The British Youth Council, a voluntary position.

David Jones attended the University of Oxford from 1993 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Chemistry.
