John Zhao

John Zhao has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. John currently holds the position of Vice President Technical APAC at AerCap, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at GECAS from 2016 to 2021, where they held the role of Senior Vice President Technical. In this role, their responsibilities included aircraft delivery, redelivery, and repossession project management, as well as providing technical support on aircraft placement. John Zhao also worked at GECAS from 1999 to 2016 as Vice President Technical, where they focused on aircraft placement technical support and aircraft transitions project management.

John Zhao obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from London Business School from 1996 to 1998.
