Maurice O'Mahony

Maurice O'Mahony serves as the Director of Powerplant Spare Engines at AerCap since November 2021, following a tenure as AVP of Powerplant Management at GECAS from October 2018 to November 2021. Prior experience includes working as an Engine Lease Engineer at CAE Parc Aviation from August 2011 to September 2018, where responsibilities involved management of engine lease returns and performance metrics reporting for GECAS. Maurice O'Mahony has also contributed as a Technical Consultant on various assignments for GECAS, focusing on aircraft technical specifications and records management. Earlier career experience includes working as a Quantity Surveyor at John Sisk & Son Ltd and obtaining a Master’s Degree in Project Management from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Educational qualifications also include certifications in Information Technology and specialized aviation training, encompassing B737NG and CFM56-7B maintenance.
