Carl Byrd

Carl Byrd has worked in the IT industry since 2005. Carl started their career as a Technical Support Trainer at CGS (Computer Generated Solutions), where they provided training, documentation, and troubleshooting skills to new support representatives. Carl then moved to Audible, Inc. in 2009, where they worked as a Technical Lead, managing all tracking and reporting of multiple agent KPIs, creating business and training plans for continuously improving quality and efficiency. In 2012, Carl joined LabTech Software (ConnectWise) as an Automation Lead, performing many roles including Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Business Analyst. In 2016, Carl became a Sr. QA Engineer at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc., introducing tools and processes to more seamlessly integrate the use of Agile software development practices. Carl is currently employed as a Scrum Master at Mapware since 2022.

Carl Byrd attended the Bergen County Technical School, where they studied Business Information Technology Systems. Carl has also obtained several certifications, including Certified SAFe 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2022, Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master (CSP-SM) from Scrum Alliance in August 2021, Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in July 2021, Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from ASTQB - ISTQB in the U.S. - Official Page in April 2019, Splunk Certified User from Splunk - NYC in July 2017, and Ranorex Certified Professional from Ranorex in January 2015.
