Nic Lupfer

Nic Lupfer has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2021. In 2007, they worked as a Composition Artist for the Fort Bend Herald. In 2008, they worked as a Support Services Technician for K2Share LLC. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher for the Interface Ecology Lab. In 2019, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher for the Data Analytics at Texas A&M (DATA) Lab. In 2018, they worked as a Research Intern for Microsoft. In 2010, they worked as an Associate Consultant for Improving Enterprises. In 2020, they co-founded br8krm. From 2016 to 2021, they co-founded Gumboot Studio and worked on various projects such as Elevate 2020, GDC Relief Fund Indie Developer Accelerator Program and Top 20 GMTK Jam 2019. Currently, they are working as a Senior Engineer for Mapware, focusing on the web app for viewing and interacting with 2D maps and 3D models.

Nic Lupfer completed their education at Texas A&M University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science in 2020, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science in 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Business Minor in 2010.
