Laura Pelkey

Laura Pelkey has a strong background in finance and administration. Laura started their career as an AmeriCorps VISTA at Community First Fund in 2009, where they assisted with the management of delinquent loans and loss reserves. Laura then joined Opportunity Finance Network in 2010 as a Junior Associate, managing borrowers' financials and loan covenant compliance requirements. In 2012, they joined Aeris Insight Inc. as an Associate, spreading and analyzing financial statements and portfolio quality data. Laura was quickly promoted to Senior Associate, where they managed customer relationships and subscriptions for an information service. Laura further advanced at Aeris Insight Inc., holding roles as Manager, Senior Manager, and most recently, Associate Director of Finance and Administration. In these roles, they led and supported operations projects, conducted financial analysis, prepared reports for the Finance Committee and Board of Directors, and developed annual budgets. Overall, Laura has a diverse range of experience in finance and administration roles, with a consistent focus on data analysis and financial management.

Laura Pelkey attended Marple Newtown Senior High School from 2001 to 2005. Laura then pursued their undergraduate studies at Villanova University from 2005 to 2009, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance and International Business. Later, Laura Pelkey furthered their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Fox School of Business at Temple University between the years 2013 and 2016.
