Elaine Saunders

Elaine Saunders is a skilled NDT Inspector with extensive experience in non-destructive testing, currently employed at Aero Gear since August 2019. Previously, Elaine held positions as an NDT Inspector at Whitcraft Group and as an NDT Technician at CT Tool and Manufacturing. In addition to technical roles, Elaine has demonstrated a strong commitment to education, serving as a fencing coach for Simsbury Public Schools since 2007, and as an Education Mentor at Project Genesis, Inc., where responsibilities included implementing IEPs for special needs students. Elaine also has a background in aquatic supervision and teaching, having served as Aquatic Staff Director at Simsbury Parks and Recreation and as a substitute teacher/paraprofessional for the Town of Simsbury. Elaine holds a Bachelor of Education from Central Connecticut State University and has a foundation in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
