Eric Hilliard

Eric Hilliard has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Eric is currently serving as the President of Extant Aerospace since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at AeroControlex from 2016 onwards, holding various roles including Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Operations, and Business Unit Manager. During their time at AeroControlex, Eric was responsible for leading cross-functional teams and achieving sustainable profitable growth in both commercial and military sectors of the aerospace industry. Before joining AeroControlex, Eric served as the President of Energy Focus, Inc. from 2007 to 2016. Eric also held the position of Business Manager Aerospace Flight Structures at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics from 2002 to 2006. Earlier in their career, Eric worked as a Plant Manager - Specialty Coatings at UTC Aerospace Systems and as a Safety Engineer at HJ Heinz.

Eric Hilliard has an extensive education history. Eric obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1991 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Safety Sciences. In their earlier years, Eric served in the United States Navy from 1985 to 1989, specializing in Operations. Eric completed their high school education at Homer Center High School. Additionally, Eric Hilliard has obtained a certification in the TransDigm Leadership Development Program from USC Marshall Executive Education, which they received in May 2021.
