Richard Reed has a long and varied work experience. Richard began their career in 1986 as a Laser Electro-Optics Technician at Hughes Aircraft Company. In 1988, they became a Territory Sales Manager at US Medical Corporation, where they marketed and sold Sharplan and Candela medical lasers to Hospitals, Outpatient Surgery Centers and Physician Offices. Richard then moved to McKesson Automated Healthcare in 1998 as a Sales Executive, where they worked at all levels within Hospital Administration to position technology as a viable solution for cost reduction, increased efficiencies, error reduction and to demonstrate a significant ROI. In 1999, they became an Ultrasound Sales Representative at Toshiba America Medical Systems, where they marketed and sold medical ultrasound and pacs systems to Hospitals, Imaging Centers and Physician offices. Richard then moved to Spacelabs Healthcare in 2001 as an Account Sales Executive, where they managed the implementation of Spacelab’s Healthcare enterprise solutions with specific focus placed on patient data integration into the Hospitals EMR. Finally, in 2017, they became a Territory Sales Manager at Aerolase.
Richard Reed attended Vincennes University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Laser Electro-Optics Technology and Computer Technology.
