Thomas Francois

Thomas Francois has a diverse work experience in various industries. Thomas worked at Aerospacelab as the Head of Avionics, leading a team in the field of electrical and electronics. Prior to that, they worked as an Aerospace Engineer at the same company.

In 2010, they became an Entrepreneur and Web Developer for AlternaWeb and ScoutOnWeb, where they launched a service that allows associations and non-profit organizations to create and manage their own websites easily.

In 2017, Thomas worked as a GNSS Application Engineer at Septentrio, where they managed technical aspects of pre- and post-sales processes, provided trainings and demonstrations, and represented the company in trade fairs.

Thomas also gained experience as a Software R&D Engineer at Ingeteam S.A., where they developed power electronic simulation software. Additionally, they worked as an R&D Engineer at ODS International SA and held various roles at CISSOID, including Field Application Engineer and Analog IC Design Engineer. Finally, they completed an internship and master thesis at CISSOID, designing a continuous-time comparator for high-temperature applications.

Thomas Francois completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electromechanical Engineering from Université catholique de Louvain in the years 2006 to 2009. Thomas then pursued a Master in Electro-mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy and electronics from the same university from 2009 to 2011. In 2010, they participated in an exchange program (Erasmus) in Electrical Engineering at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Thomas earned a Master in Management degree from Louvain School of Management. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Practical Project Management from Prosource NV in March 2013.
