Tim Evans has a diverse background in aerospace testing and instrumentation engineering. Tim started their career in 1978 as an Aviation Electrical, Communication, Navigation, and Heads Up displays Technician in the United States Marine Corps. Tim then worked at Gulfstream Aerospace as a Customer Service Center Avionics Technician A before transitioning to the role of Senior Instrumentation Technologist. At Gulfstream, they coordinated the installation of instrumentation systems and maintained strict control of conformity to specifications.
In 1990, Tim joined BOMBARDIER AEROSPACE LEARJET INC as an Engineering Staff Technologist and later became the Engineering Senior Designer Lead. From 2012 to 2019, Tim worked at the National Institute for Aviation Research as a Consultant, Instrumentation Engineering. Tim was responsible for overseeing engineering drawings, instrumentation concept solutions, and establishing technical standards and processes for projects. Tim also handled Instrumentation estimates and bids for new program opportunities.
Most recently, Tim was an Instrumentation Engineer SME at AeroTEC - Aerospace Testing Engineering & Certification Inc. since 2020. Prior to that, they owned and operated Air Capital Instrumentation in 2019.
