Ben Salmore

Ben Salmore is a Senior Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer at AeroVironment, with experience in building model and simulation frameworks for various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and improving fleet-wide aircraft performance through data analytics. Previous roles include Aerospace Engineer at Orbital ATK, where Ben focused on H-infinity controller design for missile simulations, and Professional Expert at Moorpark College, where curriculum development for UAV courses was executed. Ben also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, San Diego, and held internship positions at AeroVironment and Orbital ATK. Ben holds a Master’s degree in Controls and Dynamic Modeling and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from UC San Diego, as well as prior education from Moorpark College.
