Cason Rorer Kerrick

Cason Rorer Kerrick is an accomplished aerospace engineer currently serving as an Aero-mechanical Engineer 2 at AeroVironment since May 2023. Prior experience includes engineering internships at the Virginia Tech Drone Park and the Virginia Tech Mid-Atlantic Aviation Partnership, where responsibilities included developing educational courses on drone technology, assisting with field testing operations, and managing radar subsystems. As the Stability and Control Sub-team Lead for the AIAA Design Competition, Cason oversaw the design of a hybrid-electric regional turboprop that aimed to surpass industry standards in efficiency and emissions reduction. Cason holds a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Virginia Tech, along with a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution, following an Advanced High School Diploma from Warhill High School.
