Jerry Hoopes

Jerry Hoopes is an experienced electrical engineering professional with a strong background in hardware engineering and management. Currently serving as the Electrical Engineering Manager at AeroVironment since April 2022, Jerry has previously held key positions such as Principal Electrical Engineer at Nortek Security & Control from December 2017 to April 2022, and Director of Hardware Engineering at Core Brands from January 2012 to December 2017. Jerry's career at Core Brands also included the role of Engineering Manager for the Panamax division from September 1992 to January 2012. Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a focus on Digital Electronics and Embedded Systems from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completed in 1992.
