Sergio Guerra

Sergio Guerra is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate, energy, and consumer protection law. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at AES Andes since January 2023, Sergio has previously held similar senior legal positions at METKA EGN and Enel Green Power, focusing on the development, construction, mergers and acquisitions, and power purchase agreements in the energy sector. Notable earlier roles include Head of Legal Assistance for Wind, Solar, & Geo at Kennedys Chile Abogados and Legal Chief at Terpel, where responsibilities included contract negotiations and corporate compliance. Sergio also served as an Advisor at Sernac, contributing to legal reports and international matters. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Commercial Law from the University of Melbourne and a Law degree from Universidad Diego Portales.
