Mena M. Youssef

Lead Engineer, Project Planning at AESC

Mena M. Youssef, M.E.M. has a strong background in project planning and engineering. They currently work as a Lead Engineer in Project Planning at AESC. Prior to this, they gained experience at Nissan Motor Corporation, where they held various roles. As a New Model Engineer in the Stamping Department, Mena was responsible for overseeing all aspects of new model vehicle development and launch for stamping. In a previous role as a Tool & Die Engineer in the Forging Department, they managed tooling purchasing, cost reduction, and die-life achievement. They also oversaw Kaizen implementation and led two major project initiatives. Earlier in their career, Mena worked as a Co-Op in the Production Engineering Department at Denso Manufacturing, where they achieved cost savings through designing a rack system and successfully managed the relocation of a production line. They also performed data collection and analysis for line capability studies. Mena began their career as an intern at Nissan Motor Corporation, where they conducted research and analysis for the design and performance of manufacturing equipment for a specific model.

Mena M. Youssef, M.E.M. completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Tennessee Technological University from 2013 to 2018. Currently, Mena is pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering Management at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, which is expected to be completed by 2023. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Master of Science in Engineering Management from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, V-up from Nissan Motor Corporation, and Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie Training in 2021.
