Sam Burns

Sam Burns is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in web technologies, including AngularJS and ASP.NET MVC, and a proficiency in Microsoft products such as SQL Server and IIS. Currently serving as a Software Engineer V at Omnicell since January 2016 and as a Technical Lead Software Engineer at Aesynt since February 2011, Sam has a comprehensive understanding of agile development practices and has led multiple projects, including system upgrades and the development of distributed RESTful services. Previous roles include technical leadership at McKesson Automation, where Sam was involved in the architecture and guidance of various software projects, as well as positions at Meridio and Kainos, focusing on document management and ticketing software development. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast, graduated in 1992.
