David Burgess

David Burgess is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in electronic design and development. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Aethercomm since July 2017, David previously held the position of Sr Staff Engineer at L3 Technologies - ACSS, where responsibilities included oversight of design processes and serving as a subject matter expert for avionics hardware. David's extensive career also includes roles as Senior Principal Engineer at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, where leadership on the GOES-R LNA Assembly was pivotal, and as Senior Engineer at Honeywell, focused on Mode S ATC transponder development. Early experience includes significant contributions at Motorola Government Electronics Group as a task leader and circuit designer. David holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
