Kushan Yapa

Kushan Yapa has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kushan has recently served as the Director of Engineering and Operations at Aeturnum. Prior to that, they worked as a Visiting Lecturer at NEXT Campus - Sri Lanka.

Before joining Aeturnum, Kushan was the Head of ICT at Durdans Hospital, where they governed the day-to-day operations of the Information and Communications Technology ecosystem. Kushan also advised leadership on adopting new technologies to improve efficiency and increase patient convenience.

Kushan has also held leadership positions at GE Transportation, a Wabtec company, where they served as the Director/Country Head of IT. At Virtusa, they worked as a Senior Manager, leading a project to migrate a financial application to Salesforce. Kushan has also worked as an Application Consultant at Australian Volunteers International and as a Manager - Cloud Systems (Learning Infrastructure) at DeakinCo.

Early in their career, Kushan worked as a Systems Analyst at Queensland University of Technology, Bank of Queensland, and National Bank of Um Al Quwain.

Kushan Yapa completed their Executive MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM) from 2021 to 2022. In 2000, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University. From an unspecified time until 2013, Kushan participated in the OQP Professional Development Program at NMIT, Melbourne, Australia. Prior to that, they attended Ananda College, although the duration and specific details are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Kushan Yapa obtained certifications in Prince2 from PRINCE2.com in January 2017 and ITIL from ITIL Certified in December 2016.
