David Ku

David Ku is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in photonics and software development. Currently serving as a Photonics Test Engineer at Aeva, Inc. since March 2021, David has contributed to the design and setup of testing stations and developed a robust data platform leveraging Python, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Prior to Aeva, David held positions at NeoPhotonics and Finisar, focusing on test station setups, software development for calibration and production tests, and improving production yield. David's career also includes significant roles in software engineering and firmware design at companies such as JDSU, Chrontel, ESS Technology, and Seagate Technology, where responsibilities encompassed the development of testing systems, firmware for embedded systems, and automation processes. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
