Liam Richardson

Liam Richardson is a skilled engineering professional with a strong background in sensor calibration and lidar systems. Currently serving as a Senior Sensor Calibration Engineer at Aeva since January 2023, Liam previously held roles at Argo AI, progressing from Hardware Engineer I to Hardware Engineer II within the Lidar Systems Team from November 2019 to December 2022. Earlier experience includes a Field Application Engineer position at AEye, Inc. in 2019, and an R&D Intern role at General Monitors by MSA, where contributions included modeling gas detector components and designing alignment tools. Additional internships include optical and mechanical engineering at SpectraSensors and leadership in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Design Competition, where a top 10% team was formed to design a Hyperloop pod. Liam is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at the University of San Diego, expected to complete in August 2025, following a Bachelor's degree from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
